The maximum stress range is defined by the difference between maximum and minimum strength. FATcomp also defines the ratio between the maximum and the minimum stress range R, later used to compute the influence of mean stress and residual stress. Input the minimum and maximum stress, do not forget to use the minus before a compressive stress, picture 1:
